Open Casting Call for SHIFTER

An open call for casting has been issued by the producers of the award winning sci-fi thriller, Electric Nostalgia, for their next project, a time-travel horror film, Shifter. Planet Thunder Productions strives to produce thoughtful, imaginative, and memorable films of any length or genre in an environment that encourages and respects creativity. 

Shifter is a time-travel horror film about a young woman who experiences the painful and gruesome side effects of an experiment with time travel gone wrong that causes her to shift through time at random.  The film will be written and directed by Jacob Leighton Burns and produced by Vinnie Hogan and Zachary Burns. The team is looking to fill principal and supporting roles for actors ranging from 20-70yrs old. 

“There’s a common saying that ‘90% of directing is casting’, and so we’re always on the lookout for the right person for every role,” said director, Jacob Leighton Burns. “We’re looking for people who are not only talented, but can bring their own interpretation and artistry to the project and really make the characters come alive on screen.” Producer Zachary Burns adds, “We do our best to keep our film sets fun, but professional and respectful to the creative process, so anyone who is interested in being a part of our team should audition. It’s going to be an amazing experience.”
